Visting Great Grama Carr

Now that Grama has recovered and settled in after her cataract surgery, Aubrey and I popped over to her house for a visit. Grama Carr is my paternal grandma, and by far my favorite extended family member! She's the epitome of class and traditional mother/grandmother and I just love love love her! I was so excited to bring Aubrey over to hang out with her some. :)

I can't wait until Aubrey is old enough to sit on the floor and go through Grama's giant jewelry box just like I did as a little girl.

The blanket Aubrey is laying on was made by Grama's grandmother, she made one for each of her daughters and this one has been passed down again and again. So... my great great grandma, and Aubrey's great great great grandma! There's some family history for ya!

She sure did seem to like Grama... I mean, come on, what's not to like? She's the best! Aubrey just smiled and cooed, and charmed her pants off. LOL

Uncle Dylan comes to visit

My little brother Dylan came down this weekend to visit... Poor little Aubrey had just had her 2 month shots the Friday he drove down, so she wasn't feeling too great, but she seemed to love his visit just the same! As always, she flashed that sweet little gummy smile and charmed him too!

The Purple Chair Series

By now I think it's quite obvious that I like taking pics of my precious baby girl! This particular day, she was dressed so cute and just hamming it up, I couldn't help but take about 50... here are my faves!

Inspiration!

It's certainly no secret that since I became pregnant, just the thought of this wonderful little girl has given me a huge wave of inspiration. Starting with the nursery, it has just been flowing from me like rain! The fact that she's renewed my creative streak after somewhat of a dry spell has really made me feel like myself again. :) The magic of this little girl never ceases to amaze me!

My latest wave has led me to really exciting venture... opening my own Etsy store! For those of you who may not be familiar with Etsy, it's a great website for people to buy and sell artisan goods. You can find all kinds of awesome stuff there!

Anyway, I am always on the quest for something cute for her to wear, and one day it suddenly dawned on me that I should just make it! I started experimenting with fabric dyes and the rest is history...

Here's one of my favorites with my little sweetie being kind enough to model it for us!

There's a box in my task bar to the right on this page that is showcasing some samples, as well as a link to the store. Otherwise, you can go here:
